• Breastfeeding Data: Information about breastfeeding sessions, including dates, times, durations, and the side used (left/right/other).
• Device Time Zone: The time zone of your Alexa-enabled device to accurately log breastfeeding session times.
• Email Address (Optional): If provided, your email address is stored, until explicit deletion, to send you a summary of breastfeeding data before it is deleted.

2. How We Use Your Information

The data collected is used for the following purposes:

• To log, track, and display your breastfeeding sessions.
• To personalize your experience and accurately represent dates and times based on device time zones.
• To send breastfeeding session summaries to your email upon request.
• To maintain and improve the skill’s functionality and ensure compliance with Amazon’s Alexa policies.

3. Data Retention

We retain breastfeeding data for a maximum of eight days. At the beginning of each week, all breastfeeding data is automatically deleted from our servers.

If you provide an email address, we may use it to send you a copy of your breastfeeding data before it is deleted. The email address is not retained for any other purposes and is removed when the user removes the permission from the Alexa app and opens the skill again to sync the email usage preferences to the skill data.

We do not share, sell, or distribute your data to third parties. All data is processed and stored securely. Any data exchanged between your Alexa-enabled device and our servers complies with Amazon’s privacy and security requirements.
